Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience required
  • minimum two years in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • availability to work varied shifts including weekends
  • ability to stand for entire shifts and walk long periods
  • ability to lift, carry, push up to 50 pounds
  • ability to use hands for manual tasks
  • ability to bend and stoop
  • effective verbal communication skills
  • vision capabilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception
  • ability to access all restaurant areas
  • compliance with state alcohol serving age requirements

Job Duties

  • Supervise staff according to company policies and legal requirements
  • recruit, interview, and train employees
  • assign and direct work
  • appraise performance
  • reward and discipline employees
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction

  • assist with category job duties as needed
  • build sales by ensuring execution of marketing programs
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests
  • investigate and resolve food quality and service issues
  • assist in maintaining efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health, and safety codes
  • enforce safe work behaviors for guests and crew
  • monitor daily activities for food quality and cleanliness
  • control operations following cash security procedures
  • manage food costs using recipes and portion control
  • control labor costs through scheduling and sales performance monitoring
  • perform all other duties as assigned
