Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience in restaurant management
  • minimum two years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant
  • ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • good verbal communication skills
  • ability to use close, distance, color, peripheral vision and adjust focus
  • ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
  • compliance with all state-mandated age requirements for alcohol service where applicable
  • ability to maintain safe work environment
  • basic computer skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supervise staff according to company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, and train employees
  • assign and direct work
  • appraise performance
  • reward and discipline employees
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior and foster a hospitable atmosphere
  • assist team members with job duties as needed
  • implement corporate and local marketing programs
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests
  • investigate and resolve food quality and service issues
  • maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health, and safety codes
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor quality and cleanliness standards
  • control daily operations including cash control and security procedures
  • manage food costs through recipe adherence, portion control, and inventory management
  • control labor costs by monitoring schedules and sales performance
  • perform all other duties as assigned
