Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Must have and maintain ServSafe certification
- Ability to work a flexible 50-hour work week
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with noise and temperature variations
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to use a headset
- Ability to multitask while maintaining composure and providing directions
- Professionalism, composure, and discretion in customer service
- Availability to work all day parts and days of the week
- General knowledge of state and federal employment laws
- Ability to learn and train others on Wendy's systems and employee development programs
- Physical inspections of all restaurant areas
- Ability to meet all subordinate position requirements
Job Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent experience in operations
- One year of line operations experience in the restaurant industry
- Ability to perform all restaurant operations positions and functions
- Working knowledge of Wendy's operating systems and procedures
- Familiarity with supervisory practices
- Understanding of interviewing practices
- Knowledge of crew orientation and training programs
Job Duties
- Manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales
- Review budget and profit and loss statements monthly
- Build sales through promoting customer satisfaction
- Monitor crew prep, production, and procedures execution to manage costs
- Track waste levels using established procedures
- Communicate sales and profit related issues to General Manager or District Manager
- Assist in executing restaurant sales and profits plan
- Monitor food costs to eliminate waste and theft
- Process crew applications and set up interviews
- Check references and hire crew
- Monitor crew turnover rate and report causes
- Monitor product quality by engaging with customers and managing crew performance
- Take service times and determine operational efficiency
- Train crew for prompt customer response and courtesy
- Take corrective actions to improve service times
- Solicit customer feedback to determine satisfaction
- Establish and communicate daily sales and operational goals
- Train crew to maintain cleanliness
- Follow restaurant cleaning plan and correct deficiencies
- Train crew on new products and initial position skills
- Assist in training new managers
- Cross-train crew
- Recognize high-performing crew
- Follow procedures to ensure prep and production goals are met
- Monitor inventory to ensure product availability
- Maintain security of cash, product, and equipment
- Follow priorities and restaurant plans set by General Manager or District Manager
- Manage shifts to quality, service, and cleanliness standards
- Take action when problems are anticipated or identified
- Follow procedures outlined in the Operations manual
- Maintain safe working conditions
- Follow cash control policies and report accidents
- Resolve issues indicated by Health Department inspectors

- Follow Preventative Maintenance Program
