Job Requirements
- 5 years’ experience in food or restaurant service management
- 3 years’ of supervisory experience
- 1 year experience in events
- ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification required (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Flexible schedule required, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as business needs dictate
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods, up to 8 hours in a day
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently
- Willingness to work in a high volume production kitchen that can be hot, cold, humid and/or slippery
- Ability to perform strenuous physical activities like moving tables, chairs and clearing dirty dishes
- Ability to walk up and down stairs frequently during set-up and events
Job Qualifications
- 5 years’ experience in food or restaurant service management

Job Duties
- Oversee daily café and deli operations, including opening/closing procedures, staffing, and inventory control
- Manage the scheduling and workflow of the Food Services Department
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
- Manage product presentation, menu execution, and service quality in coordination with culinary leadership
- Champion a culture of hospitality and guest satisfaction throughout all café and deli operations
- Lead by example in delivering attentive, friendly, and efficient service to every guest by being present and working alongside teammates
- Demonstrate, train, and promote safety awareness
- handle staff and guest injuries following Museum procedures
- Responsible for hiring and supervising staff
