Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales during shifts
  • review monthly budget and profit and loss statements
  • promote sales by enhancing customer satisfaction
  • monitor crew preparation, production, and procedure compliance
  • track waste levels using established procedures
  • report sales and profit issues to General Manager or District Manager
  • assist in executing restaurant sales and profit plans
  • monitor and maintain product quality by managing crew performance
  • take service times and improve efficiency
  • train crew in customer service and courtesy
  • take corrective actions to improve service times
  • solicit customer feedback
  • set and communicate daily sales goals
  • train crew to maintain restaurant cleanliness
  • implement restaurant cleaning plans
  • correct cleaning deficiencies
  • train crew on new products
  • assist in training new managers
  • conduct crew orientation and training
  • cross-train crew for shift coverage
  • recognize high-performing crew members
  • ensure crew meets prep and production goals
  • monitor inventory levels and complete physical inventory
  • manage weekly food deliveries
  • maintain security of cash, product, and equipment
  • follow priorities set by General Manager
  • ensure proper execution of standards and procedures
  • maintain quality, service, and cleanliness levels of 80 percent or higher
  • take appropriate action to address problems
  • adhere to operations manual guidelines

  • report accidents promptly
  • resolve health department inspection issues
  • manage shifts effectively using established checklists
  • perform administrative duties as required
