Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years of age

Job Qualifications

  • college degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 1 year of line operations experience in the restaurant industry
  • ability to perform all restaurant operations positions/functions
  • knowledge of Wendy's operating systems and procedures
  • knowledge of company policies related to job responsibilities
  • understanding of supervisory and interviewing practices
  • familiarity with crew orientation and training programs
  • ability to train others in Wendy's systems and employee development programs
  • valid driver's license
  • ServSafe certification

Job Duties

  • manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales during shifts
  • review monthly budget and profit and loss statements
  • promote customer satisfaction to build sales
  • monitor crew prep, production, and procedure execution to control costs
  • track waste levels and implement established procedures
  • communicate sales and profit issues to General or District Manager
  • assist in executing sales and profit plans
  • monitor food costs to reduce waste and theft
  • process crew applications and conduct interviews
  • hire crew to ensure adequate shift coverage
  • monitor and recommend improvements for crew turnover rates
  • monitor product quality during shifts by interacting with customers and managing crew performance
  • assess service times and train crew to improve efficiency
  • train crew in customer courtesy and responding promptly to customer needs
  • establish and communicate daily service goals
  • train crew to maintain restaurant cleanliness and adhere to cleaning plans
  • address cleaning deficiencies
  • train crew in new product knowledge and initial position skills
  • assist in training new managers and cross-train crew
  • recognize high-performing crew members
  • ensure crew meets prep and production goals
  • monitor inventory levels and maintain security of cash, products, and equipment
  • follow restaurant priorities and operational standards
  • manage shifts to achieve quality, service, and cleanliness levels
  • take corrective actions as needed
  • enforce procedures from the Operations manual
  • maintain safe working conditions
  • adhere to company cash control policies and report accidents
  • resolve health department operational issues
  • perform administrative duties as assigned
  • write crew schedules aligned with management plans
  • follow maintenance programs and report issues
  • manage crew performance problems consistently
  • maximize crew retention and follow grievance processes
