Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a leadership role
  • minimum 2 years prior experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant strongly preferred
  • available to work a variety of shifts and weekends
  • ability to stand for entire shift and walk long periods without rest
  • ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • ability to reach with hands and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls
  • ability to bend and stoop
  • ability to taste and smell
  • ability to verbally communicate with others
  • vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • ability to freely access all restaurant areas
  • compliance with state regulations for alcohol serving if applicable

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience required
  • minimum of 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • college or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company's policies and applicable laws
  • recruiting, interviewing, and training employees
  • assigning and directing work
  • appraising performance
  • rewarding and disciplining employees
  • addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • coach and mentor team members to ensure employee's success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior while creating a warm, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere
  • occasionally assist team members with category job duties as needed
  • assist with building store sales by executing corporate and local marketing programs
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests, investigate and resolve food quality and service issues
  • assist in maintaining efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management
  • ensure OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policy are met
  • enforce safe work behaviors to maintain a safe environment
  • monitor daily activities to ensure quality food and cleanliness standards
  • control day-to-day operations including cash control and security procedures, reviewing financial reports and schedules
  • control food costs by following recipes, portion control, and inventory management
  • control labor costs by monitoring schedules and sales performance through company’s labor scheduling tool
  • perform all other duties as assigned
