Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience required
  • minimum 2 years experience in family, fast-food or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • college or culinary schooling preferred
  • ability to work various shifts including weekends
  • compliance with state alcohol serving age laws for manager positions
  • ability to stand for entire shifts and walk long periods
  • ability to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • physical capability to bend, stoop, and use hands for handling tools and controls
  • ability to taste, smell, and communicate verbally
  • visual capabilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision
  • ability to access all restaurant areas
  • commitment to follow safety and sanitation procedures according to CDC and local guidelines

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supervise staff according to company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, and train employees
  • assign and direct work
  • appraise performance
  • reward and discipline employees
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • coach and mentor team members
  • model professional behavior to create a warm and hospitable atmosphere
  • assist with category job duties as needed
  • execute corporate and local marketing programs
  • champion sales building and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues
  • maintain efficient operations including cost control and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA and safety codes
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness
  • control cash handling and review financial reports
  • manage food costs by following recipes and inventory control
  • control labor costs utilizing scheduling tools
  • perform other assigned duties
