Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
prior experience in a leadership role required
minimum of 2 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant strongly preferred
college or culinary schooling preferred
ability to communicate effectively
strong interpersonal skills
conflict resolution abilities
strong organizational skills
dedication to guest service
basic accounting knowledge
computer literacy
ability to work flexible hours including weekends
ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
ability to comply with state age requirements for alcohol service where applicable

Job Duties

Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
recruiting, interviewing, and training employees
assigning and directing work
appraising performance
rewarding and disciplining employees
addressing complaints and resolving problems
coach and mentor team members to ensure employee success and guest satisfaction
model professional behavior while creating a warm, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere
assist team members with category duties as needed
assist with building store sales by executing corporate and local marketing programs
champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
meet and greet guests
investigate and resolve food quality and service issues achieving 100 percent guest satisfaction
assist in maintaining efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
ensure OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety policies are met
enforce safe work behaviors
monitor daily activities to ensure food quality and cleanliness standards
control day-to-day operations including cash control and financial reviews
control food costs following recipes and inventory management
control labor costs via scheduling tools
perform all other duties as assigned
