Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a hotel environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Maintain standards of food and beverage quality and guest service quality
  • Achieve budgeted revenues and expenses and maximize profitability related to the food and beverage department
  • Contribute to the profitability and guest satisfaction perception of other hotel departments
  • Supervise food and beverage staff including hiring, training, counseling, disciplining, terminating and completing performance evaluations
  • Develop short term and long term financial and operational plans for the food and beverage department
  • Participate in the preparation of the annual hotel budget
  • Increase level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an improved product through employee development, job engineering and quality image
  • Maintain procedures for credit control and handling of financial transactions
  • Maintain inventory control procedures
  • Receive departmental related guest complaints and ensure corrective action is taken
