Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2-3 years in food and beverage supervisory role
- Experience in hotel food and beverage operations
- Knowledge of liquor laws and safety regulations
- Current Food Handler Card or in process of obtaining
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient with POS systems and financial reporting
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years as a Food & Beverage Supervisor with hotel experience
- Previous experience in a property of similar size and nature
- Thorough knowledge of food outlet operations including food and beverage, supervisory aspects, service techniques, and guest interaction
- Knowledge of state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to alcohol service
- Hold a current Food Handler Card or be in the process of certification
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Understanding of appropriate table settings and service ware
- Basic English language skills for customer communication
- Ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions
- Ability to remember and promote menu items
- Ability to operate beverage equipment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
Job Duties
- Ensure each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a guest friendly environment including greeting and acknowledging every guest
- Ensure guest satisfaction scores meet or exceed goals
- Maintain a favorable working relationship with all associates to promote a positive work environment
- Work in a fast paced and customer service-oriented environment performing duties under pressure and meeting deadlines
- Attend BEO, staff, and Food & Beverage meetings
- Analyze and monitor daily operation reports, financial statements, and labor costs
- Perform special projects as necessary for management
- Plan and execute hotel-sponsored events
- Taste food and beverage products to ensure quality and consistency
- Market ideas and promotions within the Food & Beverage department
- Monitor F&B computer POS systems and cashier procedures
- Handle team responsibilities as needed
- Fulfill Manager on Duty responsibilities
- Control the flow of customers and front/back-of-house interactions
- Maintain brand standards and high customer service levels
- Handle customer inquiries professionally
- Manage outlet scheduling and payroll
- Conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings
- Maintain communication with all departments and participate in marketing efforts
- Monitor product quality and guest satisfaction
- Maintain outlet profitability by controlling costs
- Support entire Food & Beverage operations including special projects and promotions
- Provide and maintain a safe, clean working environment
- Adhere to company policies and safety procedures
- Report unsafe conditions and incidents
- Maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
- Assist other restaurant personnel as needed
- Perform any related duties as assigned
