Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • must complete restaurant manager training classes
  • ServSafe certification required
  • ability to stand and walk approximately 85-95 percent of shift
  • ability to lift and carry 10-65 pounds
  • ability to move freely throughout the restaurant
  • ability to operate restaurant equipment and drive a motor vehicle
  • must possess valid driver’s license and insurance
  • use personal vehicle for bank deposits and travel to other locations
  • demonstrate integrity and ethical behavior
  • strong organizational and planning skills
  • proven analytical skills
  • self-starter with initiative and responsibility
  • excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • ability to perform basic math operations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma for internal promotion
  • working toward associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • associate degree acceptable for external recruits
  • bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
  • minimum 1 year experience as an associate manager or 2 years as first assistant manager for internal promotion
  • minimum 3 years experience managing service concept with full P&L responsibility for external recruits
  • ServSafe certification required
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • proficient in basic math and analytical skills
  • ability to use personal computers and software applications
  • valid driver’s license and insurance
  • effective English speaking, reading, and writing skills

Job Duties

  • Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
  • monitor staffing levels to ensure development and talent
  • implement and adhere to employee training systems
  • identify and develop internal candidates for management and leadership positions
  • motivate and inspire employees to achieve high performance
  • ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
  • manage daily restaurant operations to achieve excellence
  • deliver exceptional guest service and maintain food quality
  • respond to guest complaints promptly and professionally
  • maintain restaurant cleanliness and brand image
  • utilize management tools to analyze financial and operational performance
  • develop and execute action plans to improve results
  • focus on increasing sales and profitability
  • monitor costs and budget adherence
  • protect the brand through sound financial decisions
