Job Requirements

  • Education of high school diploma or GED
  • Minimum two years of management experience
  • Preferred experience in full-service restaurant management
  • Ability to provide exceptional leadership and motivation
  • Strong guest service orientation
  • Competence in achieving financial targets related to sales and labor
  • Physical ability to stand or sit for extended periods
  • Capability to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Ability to perform duties requiring walking, standing, talking, hearing, hand use, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching and climbing

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
  • Two years of management experience
  • Full-service restaurant management experience preferred
  • Exceptional leadership and motivational skills
  • Strong guest focus mentality
  • Ability to define, measure and attain financial goals including sales growth, guest count increases, staffing effectiveness, service quality, add-on sales and labor cost management

Job Duties

  • Knowledge of all dining room systems and operations including to-go, counter, bar and service standards as well as kitchen operations including expo, prep, line, quality identifiers and standards
  • Provides direction, coaching, and leadership for front-of-house and back-of-house team members including training, safety and sanitation, and company policies and procedures
  • Responsible for establishing and communicating goals to the managing partner regularly
  • Communicates effectively with management team, hourly team members, vendors and the restaurant support center
  • Proactively maintains restaurant facility to excellence standards including cleanliness, neatness and organization
  • Ensures sufficient supply levels of tools available for team members
  • Writes and posts department schedule in a timely manner while maintaining labor goals and guest satisfaction
  • Knowledgeable of inventory procedures and completes weekly inventory in area of responsibility
  • Interviews potential team members and assists in hiring to maintain staffing levels
  • Maintains responsibility areas including guest experience, bar, hospitality and takeout, focusing on service standards, sales, and team member knowledge by coaching
