Job Requirements

  • minimum two years previous management experience in a full-service establishment based on management's discretion
  • knowledgeable in both back-of-house and front-of-house operations
  • capable of making clear concise oral and written communication to all levels of employees
  • proficient use of all restaurant equipment including but not limited to calculators, cash registers, computers, ovens, smokers, knives
  • high school diploma or equivalency as determined by management
  • food service manager certificate
  • completion of management in training (MIT) program
  • ability to perform most work from a standing position for 10 to 11 hours daily
  • capable of frequent lifting up to 30 pounds and occasional lifting up to 80 pounds
  • able to work in a climate-controlled establishment with exposure to temperature extremes related to food preparation

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • supports the general manager by providing direction and support to hourly employees
  • performs or supervises duties related to restaurant operations
  • ensures knowledge and adherence to company policies and industry standards
  • trains and monitors employees to ensure customer satisfaction
  • assists with recruitment, promotion, and scheduling
  • coordinates preparation, cooking, and packaging of food orders
  • monitors food costs and quality controls
  • records and analyzes cash flow, inventory, and labor costs
  • ensures compliance with health and safety regulations
  • administers progressive discipline policy
  • leads by example and performs any necessary tasks to support teamwork
