Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales
  • Review monthly budget and profit and loss statements
  • Promote customer satisfaction to build sales
  • Monitor crew prep, production, and procedure execution to manage costs
  • Track waste levels and monitor crew procedures
  • Communicate sales and profit issues to General or District Manager
  • Assist in executing restaurant sales and profit plans
  • Monitor food costs to reduce waste and theft
  • Monitor product quality through customer interaction and crew feedback
  • Take and analyze service times to determine efficiency
  • Train crew in customer service and courtesy
  • Take corrective action to improve service times
  • Establish daily sales objectives and communicate them
  • Train crew to maintain restaurant cleanliness
  • Follow cleaning plans and correct deficiencies
  • Train crew in new products and orientation
  • Assist in training new managers
  • Cross-train crew for efficient shift coverage
  • Recognize high-performing crew members
  • Follow flowcharts for prep and production goals
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels
  • Complete physical inventory as required
  • Intake weekly food deliveries
  • Maintain security of cash, product and equipment
  • Follow priorities and plans established by General Manager
  • Ensure standards and procedures are followed during shifts
  • Manage shift to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness standards of 80 percent or better
  • Take appropriate action when problems arise
  • Follow company operations manual procedures
  • Maintain safe working conditions as per policies
  • Follow company cash control policies
  • Report accidents accurately and promptly
  • Resolve issues indicated by Health Department inspections
  • Manage shifts using established checklists
  • Perform administrative duties as required
  • Write crew schedules to meet management plans
  • Comply with company standards for crew benefits
  • Follow and train crew on Preventative Maintenance Program
  • Monitor equipment maintenance
