Job Duties
- Manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales
- Review monthly budget and profit and loss statements
- Promote customer satisfaction to build sales
- Monitor crew prep, production, and procedure execution to manage costs
- Track waste levels and monitor crew procedures
- Communicate sales and profit issues to General or District Manager
- Assist in executing restaurant sales and profit plans
- Monitor food costs to reduce waste and theft
- Monitor product quality through customer interaction and crew feedback
- Take and analyze service times to determine efficiency
- Train crew in customer service and courtesy
- Take corrective action to improve service times
- Establish daily sales objectives and communicate them
- Train crew to maintain restaurant cleanliness
- Follow cleaning plans and correct deficiencies
- Train crew in new products and orientation
- Assist in training new managers
- Cross-train crew for efficient shift coverage
- Recognize high-performing crew members
- Follow flowcharts for prep and production goals
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels
- Complete physical inventory as required
- Intake weekly food deliveries
- Maintain security of cash, product and equipment
- Follow priorities and plans established by General Manager
- Ensure standards and procedures are followed during shifts
- Manage shift to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness standards of 80 percent or better
- Take appropriate action when problems arise
- Follow company operations manual procedures
- Maintain safe working conditions as per policies
- Follow company cash control policies
- Report accidents accurately and promptly
- Resolve issues indicated by Health Department inspections
- Manage shifts using established checklists
- Perform administrative duties as required
- Write crew schedules to meet management plans
- Comply with company standards for crew benefits
- Follow and train crew on Preventative Maintenance Program
- Monitor equipment maintenance
