Job Requirements

  • 5 years experience in food or restaurant service management
  • 3 years of supervisory experience
  • 1 year experience in events
  • ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification required or ability to obtain within 30 days
  • Flexible schedule including weekends holidays and evenings

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily café and deli operations including opening closing procedures staffing and inventory control
  • Manage the scheduling and workflow of the food services department
  • Ensure compliance with food safety sanitation and workplace safety standards
  • Manage product presentation menu execution and service quality in coordination with culinary leadership
  • Champion a culture of hospitality and guest satisfaction throughout all café and deli operations
  • Lead by example in delivering attentive friendly and efficient service to every guest by being present and working alongside teammates
  • Demonstrate train and promote safety awareness handle staff and guest injuries following museum procedures
  • Responsible for hiring and supervising staff
