Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2-3 years experience in food and beverage supervision
Experience in a property of similar size and nature
Food and beverage product knowledge
Hold or be in the process of obtaining a food handler card
Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
Basic English language skills
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Knowledge of liquor laws and regulations

Job Qualifications

Minimum of 2-3 years as a food and beverage supervisor
Previous experience in a property of similar size and nature
Food and beverage product knowledge
Supervisory experience
Knowledge of food outlet operations and guest interaction
Knowledge of state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations
Current or in progress food handler certification
Ability to work under pressure
Basic English communication skills
Ability to comprehend product labeling and safety instructions
Ability to operate beverage equipment such as coffee makers

Job Duties

Ensures that each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a guest friendly environment including greeting and acknowledging every guest with outstanding standards and product knowledge
Ensure that guest satisfaction scores meet or exceed goals
Maintain a favorable working relationship with company associates to promote a positive working environment
Attend BEO, staff and food and beverage meetings
Analyze and monitor daily operations reports, monthly and yearly financial statements, and labor costs
Plan and execute hotel sponsored events as required
Taste food and beverage products to ensure quality and consistency
Market ideas and promotions in the food and beverage department
Monitor POS systems and cashier procedures
Handle responsibilities of associates when needed
Serve as manager on duty as required
Control the flow of customers and interaction between front and back of house during service
Ensure team members maintain brand standards and high levels of customer service
Handle all customer inquiries professionally
Manage outlet scheduling and payroll
Conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings communicating pertinent information
Maintain communication with all departments and attend relevant meetings
Participate in marketing efforts, menu creation, and competition surveys
Monitor product quality and guest satisfaction
Control payroll and equipment costs
Maintain par stock levels by managing inventory and supplies
Ensure equipment maintenance and staff training on proper use
Support entire food and beverage operation including supervising areas as needed and handling special projects
Provide a clean and safe environment
Adhere to company policies and safety procedures
Report unsafe conditions and incidents to manager
Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
Perform related duties as requested
