Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience required
  • minimum of 2 years prior experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • availability to work a variety of shifts and weekends
  • ability to stand for entire shift and walk long periods
  • physical ability to push, lift, carry up to 50 pounds
  • ability to use hands and reach
  • ability to bend and stoop
  • ability to taste, smell, verbally communicate and have visual acuity
  • compliance with state alcohol service age requirements if applicable

Job Duties

  • Supervise staff according to company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, and train employees
  • assign and direct work
  • appraise performance and manage rewards and discipline
  • coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior creating a hospitable atmosphere
  • assist team members with duties as needed
  • execute corporate and local marketing programs to build sales
  • champion sales-building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover and sales metrics
  • greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues
  • maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • control cash and security procedures
  • manage food costs through recipe adherence, portion control, inventory
  • monitor labor costs and schedules
