Job Duties

  • Manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales
  • Review monthly budget and profit and loss statements
  • Promote customer satisfaction to build sales
  • Monitor crew prep, production, and procedures to manage costs
  • Track and control waste levels
  • Communicate sales and profit issues to General Manager or District Manager
  • Assist in executing restaurant sales and profit plans
  • Monitor food costs to prevent waste and theft
  • Monitor product quality through customer interaction and crew management
  • Train crew to improve service efficiency and customer courtesy
  • Provide corrective action to improve service times
  • Solicit customer feedback to ensure satisfaction
  • Establish and communicate daily service goals
  • Train crew in restaurant cleanliness and ensure cleaning plan adherence
  • Direct correction of cleaning deficiencies
  • Train crew on new products and cross-train for position coverage
  • Assist in training new managers
  • Recognize high-performing crew members
  • Monitor inventory and complete product inventories
  • Intake and manage weekly food deliveries
  • Maintain security of cash, product, and equipment
  • Follow restaurant priorities and operational plans
  • Manage shifts to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness standards
  • Follow company policies and procedures including safety protocols
  • Report accidents and resolve health inspection issues
  • Conduct administrative duties including crew scheduling
  • Follow preventative maintenance programs and ensure equipment upkeep
