This restaurant is part of an independent franchisee operation of the well-known fast-food chain Jack in the Box. Unlike corporate-owned branches, this establishment is managed and operated by a local franchisee who independently controls all employment decisions. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Completion of Restaurant Manager training classes
  • ServSafe certification
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English effectively
  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
  • Minimum 1+ years experience as Associate Manager or 2 years as First Assistant Manager for internal promote
  • Minimum 3 years experience managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility for external recruit
  • Basic math skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Valid driver's license and insurance
  • Ability to lift 10-65 lbs
  • Ability to stand and walk 85-95% of shift
  • Ability to operate restaurant equipment and drive a vehicle
  • Willingness to travel between restaurant locations
  • Demonstrated integrity and ethical behavior

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

Job Duties

  • Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
  • Monitor staffing levels to ensure sufficient talent and development
  • Ensure training systems for employees are fully implemented and adhered to
  • Identify and develop internal candidates for management positions
  • Create an employee-friendly, safe, and fun restaurant environment
  • Motivate and inspire employees to achieve high performance
  • Manage daily restaurant operations to ensure excellent guest service and food quality
  • Respond to guest concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain restaurant cleanliness, maintenance, and brand image
  • Analyze operational and financial performance using management tools
  • Implement action plans to improve sales and profitability
  • Monitor costs and adherence to budget and goals
  • Use discretion in daily management decisions to support the Service Profit Chain and Brand Promise
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
