Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a leadership role required
  • minimum of 2 years prior experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant strongly preferred
  • college or culinary schooling preferred
  • must meet state mandated age requirements for alcohol serving positions where applicable

Job Duties

  • Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • recruiting, interviewing, and training employees
  • assigning and directing work
  • appraising performance
  • rewarding and disciplining employees
  • addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • coaching and mentoring team members to ensure employee success and guest satisfaction
  • modeling professional behavior to create a warm, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere
  • occasionally assisting team members with category job duties
  • assisting with building store sales through execution of corporate and local marketing programs
  • championing sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximizing table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meeting and greeting guests
  • investigating and resolving food quality and service issues
  • assisting in maintaining efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • ensuring OSHA, health and safety codes and company policies are met
  • enforcing safe work behaviors
  • monitoring daily activities to ensure quality food and cleanliness standards
  • controlling day-to-day operations including cash control, reviewing financial reports and schedules
  • controlling food costs through recipe adherence, portion control, and inventory management
  • controlling labor costs by monitoring schedules and sales performance
  • performing all other duties as assigned
