- prior experience in a leadership role required
- minimum of 2 years prior experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant strongly preferred
- college or culinary schooling preferred
- must meet state mandated age requirements for alcohol serving positions where applicable

Job Duties
- Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
- recruiting, interviewing, and training employees
- assigning and directing work
- appraising performance
- rewarding and disciplining employees
- addressing complaints and resolving problems
- coaching and mentoring team members to ensure employee success and guest satisfaction
- modeling professional behavior to create a warm, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere
- occasionally assisting team members with category job duties
- assisting with building store sales through execution of corporate and local marketing programs
- championing sales building activities and suggestive selling
- maximizing table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- meeting and greeting guests
- investigating and resolving food quality and service issues
- assisting in maintaining efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
- ensuring OSHA, health and safety codes and company policies are met
- enforcing safe work behaviors
- monitoring daily activities to ensure quality food and cleanliness standards
- controlling day-to-day operations including cash control, reviewing financial reports and schedules
- controlling food costs through recipe adherence, portion control, and inventory management
- controlling labor costs by monitoring schedules and sales performance
- performing all other duties as assigned
