Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience required
  • Minimum 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • Ability to work varied shifts and weekends
  • Compliance with state alcohol serving age requirements where applicable
  • Capability to stand and walk for entire shifts
  • Ability to lift and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • Capability to reach, handle, bend, stoop
  • Ability to communicate verbally
  • Visual acuity including close, distance, color, peripheral vision and depth perception
  • Ability to access all areas of the restaurant including selling floor, stock and register areas

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supervise staff according to company policies and applicable laws
  • Recruit, interview, and train employees
  • Assign and direct work
  • Appraise performance and administer rewards or discipline
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure job success and guest satisfaction
  • Create a friendly, hospitable atmosphere
  • Assist team members with job duties when necessary
  • Execute corporate and local marketing programs to build sales
  • Promote sales through suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover and sales per guest
  • Greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues with 100% satisfaction
  • Maintain efficient operations with appropriate cost control
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety codes, and company policies
  • Enforce safe work behaviors for guest and crew safety
  • Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • Control cash following security procedures and review financial reports
  • Manage food costs through recipe adherence and inventory control
  • Control labor costs by monitoring schedules and sales performance
  • Perform all other assigned duties
