Job Requirements

  • Meet all minimum requirements of the Shift Leader role, including Kitchen Lead and Team Member physical requirements
  • 2+ years in a restaurant management/supervisory role
  • Experience managing and developing 6+ team members per shift
  • Food Handler or ServSafe certification
  • Must be available to work a minimum of 30 hours per week
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

  • Experience in fast casual restaurant chains
  • Hands-on experience with local, organic, and sustainable products
  • Familiarity with tech tools and systems used in operations and scheduling
  • Proven leadership experience with strong problem-solving skills and confidence in decision-making under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills fostering positive team culture and mentoring
  • Highly organized and reliable multitasker with scheduling, coaching, and performance oversight experience
  • Ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences

Job Duties

  • Partner with the Head Coach on hiring, onboarding, and training while fostering a culture of trust and recognition
  • Anticipate operational needs and adjust deployment to support smooth operations
  • Provide hands-on coaching, step in during peak times or staffing gaps, and ensure clear communication for consistent execution
  • Uphold high standards for food safety, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance by inspecting food quality, checking temperatures, and ensuring compliance
  • Collaborate to resolve facility, supply, and quality issues promptly, ensuring team member safety and strong audit performance
  • Ensure a clean, hospitable, and brand-aligned guest journey by upholding SWEET standards and acting on guest experience metrics
  • Support operational excellence by managing controllable costs, executing schedules, and driving sales with strategic insights
  • Ensure effective team deployment and expert use of systems by supporting daily operations and troubleshooting issues
  • Perform all essential functions of the Shift Leader role, including kitchen lead and team member responsibilities
  • Mentor team members to become future leaders and deliver exceptional guest experiences using data-driven insights
  • Use business intelligence tools to navigate operational challenges and implement short- and long-term strategies
  • Maintain smooth and efficient execution of store operations through prioritization and task management
  • Foster positive team culture through excellent communication and organization
