Job Duties
- Manage labor costs by evaluating labor needs against projected sales during shifts
- Review monthly budget and profit and loss statements
- Promote customer satisfaction to build sales
- Monitor crew prep, production, and procedural execution to manage costs
- Track waste levels using established procedures
- Communicate sales and profit issues to General Manager or District Manager
- Assist in executing restaurant sales and profits plan
- Monitor food costs to eliminate waste and theft
- Monitor product quality through customer interactions and crew performance management
- Take service times and determine efficiency
- Train crew to respond promptly to customer needs and maintain customer courtesy
- Take corrective action to improve service times
- Train crew to solicit customer feedback
- Establish and communicate daily service goals
- Train crew to maintain cleanliness
- Follow restaurant cleaning plan and direct correction of deficiencies
- Train crew in new product knowledge
- Assist General Manager in training new managers
- Train crew using orientation and training processes
- Cross-train crew for efficient coverage
- Recognize top-performing crew members
- Follow flowcharts to ensure prep and production goals
- Monitor inventory levels and complete physical inventory
- Intake weekly food deliveries
- Maintain security of cash, product, and equipment
- Follow restaurant plans set by General Manager
- Ensure standards and procedures execution during shifts
- Manage shifts to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness at 80% or better
- Take appropriate action for anticipated or identified problems
- Follow operation manual procedures
- Maintain safe working conditions
- Follow cash control policies
- Report accidents accurately
- Resolve operational issues noted by Health Department Inspectors
- Manage shifts effectively using standardized checklists
- Perform administrative duties as required
- Write crew schedules to meet management plans
- Comply with company crew benefits standards
- Follow preventative maintenance program
- Train and monitor crew on equipment maintenance
