Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- minimum 1+ years experience as associate manager or 2 years as first assistant manager for internal promote
- minimum 3 years restaurant management experience with full P&L responsibility for external recruits
- must be at least 18 years old
- must complete restaurant manager training
- ServSafe certification required
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- proficiency in basic math
- excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
- valid driver’s license and insurance
- ability to lift and carry 10-65 lbs
- ability to stand and walk majority of shift
- ability to use computers and related software
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required
- associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- for internal promotions, minimum of 1+ years experience as an associate manager or 2 years as a first assistant manager
- for external recruits, minimum of 3 years experience managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility
- must be at least 18 years old
- must complete restaurant manager training classes
- ServSafe certified
- ability to speak, read, and write English effectively
- excellent interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and planning skills
- proficiency with personal computers and software
- valid driver’s license, insurance, and access to personal vehicle
- strong integrity and ethical behavior
- ability to stand and walk 85-95% of shift
- ability to lift 10-65 lbs
- ability to operate restaurant equipment and drive motor vehicle
- ability to operate a computer keyboard
Job Duties
- Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
- monitor staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent
- implement and adhere to employee training systems
- identify and develop internal candidates for management and Team Leader positions
- create an employee-friendly, fun, clean, and safe restaurant environment
- motivate and inspire employees to achieve high performance
- comply with all state and federal labor laws and regulations
- manage daily activities to achieve restaurant operational excellence
- provide exceptional guest service and food quality
- respond professionally to guest concerns and complaints
- maintain restaurant cleanliness, maintenance, and brand image
- analyze restaurant operational and financial performance using management information tools
- develop and implement action plans for business improvement
- monitor costs and budget adherence
- exercise discretion and independent judgment on business matters
- perform other related duties as assigned
