Job Requirements

  • minimum 5 years of hospitality related experience
  • at least 3 years of restaurant manager or leadership experience
  • current food handler’s card and any other certification as required by federal, state, or local law
  • strong knowledge of food and beverage menu including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to communicate operational information clearly
  • proficiency with computers, including use of Windows and Microsoft Office, point of sale systems, and Outlook email
  • high school diploma or GED
  • willingness to perform other duties as required to support the business

Job Qualifications

  • proven track record of increasing responsibility and experience
  • computer proficiency including Windows, Microsoft Office, point of sale systems, and outlook email
  • high school diploma or GED

Job Duties

  • create a relaxed destination by developing and streamlining restaurant processes in partnership with the general manager while ensuring consistent execution of company policies and procedures
  • set the course by hiring and mentoring the best and brightest, assisting employees with career development strategies to understand tommy bahama values and maintain culture
  • build the perfect oasis by implementing strategies and facilitating learning and training programs to promote sales, service success, and internal career growth
  • support your crew by assisting employees with career development strategies to improve retention and build bench strength
  • be proactive in paradise by seeking out marketing opportunities within the community and partnering with retail to leverage the retail/restaurant relationship during events
