Job Requirements

  • High school education or GED
  • Current food handler's card and alcohol service certifications
  • Three to five years of hospitality food and beverage experience in a guest-focused setting
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic math proficiency

  • Proven experience in restaurant operations
  • Knowledge of food and beverage menus

Job Qualifications

  • Current food handler's card and alcohol service certifications as required by laws
  • Three to five years' experience in hospitality food and beverage with a guest-focused environment preferred
  • High school education or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality preferred
  • Working knowledge of general restaurant operations
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication
  • Basic math skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proven track record of increasing experience and responsibility

Job Duties

  • Ability to uphold company and brand standards, policies, and procedures and hold staff accountable
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments and delegate tasks
  • Direct service on the floor reflecting hotel and brand culture
  • Create staff schedules to ensure proper staffing
  • Track stock levels, forecast needs, and oversee ordering
  • Manage budgets and cost control methods to minimize expenses
  • Maintain safety programs for restaurant, employees, and guests
  • Ensure employee appearance reflects company image
  • Influence the team to embrace and reflect core values
  • Possess complete knowledge and enforcement of food and beverage menus
  • Practice and ensure compliance with cash handling and point-of-sale operations
  • Hire, train, and manage restaurant team members
  • Ensure clean, safe, and orderly work areas
  • Complete all cashier functions, status forms, and cover counts
  • Manage food and beverage and storeroom requisitions
  • Ensure in-room dining service and tray removal times are within guidelines
  • Conduct daily pre-shift meetings at meal periods
  • Address customer needs, comments, and concerns
  • Communicate on financial performance, inventory, and personnel
  • Ensure reservation system functions efficiently
