Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent for internal promote
  • AA degree acceptable for external recruit
  • Completion of restaurant manager training classes
  • ServSafe certification required
  • Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for bank deposits and travel
  • Ability to stand and walk 85 to 95 percent of shift
  • Ability to lift and carry 10 to 65 pounds
  • Ability to operate restaurant equipment and drive motor vehicle
  • Strong integrity and ethical behavior
  • Effective English communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma required for internal promote candidates
  • Working toward AA or BA BS degree preferred
  • AA degree acceptable for external recruits
  • BA BS in business or related field preferred for external recruits
  • Minimum of 1+ years experience as an Associate Manager or 2 years as a First Assistant Manager for internal promotes
  • Minimum of 3 years experience managing a service concept with full P and L responsibility for external recruits
  • Must be ServSafe certified
  • Completion of restaurant manager training classes
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to perform and understand basic math concepts
  • Proven analytical and organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance
  • Proficient with personal computers and related software applications

Job Duties

  • Recruits selects trains develops and evaluates restaurant employees
  • Monitors staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent
  • Ensures systems for training employees on workstations are implemented and followed
  • Identifies and develops internal candidates for management and team leader positions
  • Creates an employee-friendly fun clean and safe restaurant environment
  • Motivates and inspires employees to achieve high performance
  • Treats employees with respect dignity and regularly recognizes and rewards them
  • Ensures exceptional guest service and food quality
  • Maintains restaurant cleanliness maintenance and excellent service
  • Responds to guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally
  • Ensures compliance with all policies procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Utilizes Jack in the Box systems processes and tools
  • Maintains brand image and operational performance
