Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience
  • minimum 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant
  • knowledge of state alcohol serving laws if applicable
  • physical ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • ability to reach, handle objects and use tools
  • ability to bend and stoop
  • clear verbal communication skills
  • vision acuity including color and peripheral vision
  • ability to access all restaurant areas
  • availability to work varied shifts and weekends

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supervise staff according to company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, train and develop employees
  • assign and direct work
  • appraise performance
  • reward and discipline employees
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • coach and mentor team members for success and guest satisfaction
  • drive sales and profitability by executing marketing programs and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests and address food quality and service issues
  • maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • enforce OSHA, health and safety codes and company policies
  • promote safe work behaviors
  • ensure quality food and cleanliness standards
  • control cash procedures, review financial reports and schedules
  • manage food costs through recipe adherence, portion control and inventory management
  • control labor costs via scheduling and sales monitoring
  • perform other duties as assigned
