Job Requirements

  • 2-4 years proven experience as a manager in the restaurant industry
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to treat others with respect, kindness and professionalism
  • Reliability and consistent attendance
  • Ability to set clear expectations and make appropriate requests to staff
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work a 50-hour work week with flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of restaurant management software and POS systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be over 18 years old

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations during shifts
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
  • Assist staff with reservations and phone inquiries
  • Make detailed shift notes of dining service occurrences
  • Supervise to-go and delivery orders management
  • Open or close restaurant according to schedule
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Attend leadership and staff meetings
  • Assist in overseeing hosts, food runners, bussers, and servers
  • Schedule staff for dining service and events
  • Train and mentor staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Manage employee performance with HR support
  • Collaborate on marketing strategies and initiatives
  • Create social media content showcasing specials
  • Act as brand ambassador for events and dinners
