Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a leadership role
  • a minimum of 2 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • able to work a variety of shifts and weekends
  • ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • ability to bend, stoop, reach, and use hands to handle objects
  • ability to taste and smell
  • ability to communicate verbally
  • ability to see with close, distance, color, peripheral vision and adjust focus
  • able to access all areas of the restaurant including sales floor, stock area, and register area

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the companys policies and applicable laws
  • recruiting, interviewing, and training employees
  • assigning and directing work
  • appraising performance
  • rewarding and disciplining employees
  • addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • coach and mentor team members to ensure employees success on the job and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior while creating a warm, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere
  • assist team members with category job duties as needed
  • assist with building store sales by ensuring execution of marketing programs
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests, investigate and resolve food quality/service issues
  • assist in maintaining efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • ensure OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policy are met
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor daily activities to ensure quality food and cleanliness
  • control day-to-day operations including cash security procedures, reviewing financial reports and schedules
  • control food costs by following recipes, portion control and inventory management
  • control labor costs by monitoring daily schedules and sales performance
  • perform all other duties as assigned
