Job Requirements
- must be 21 years or age or older
- minimum 2 years of relevant restaurant management experience
- current food safety and sanitation certification
- current alcohol training certification
- ability to work 45-55 hour work weeks
- flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, late-night shifts, weekends, and holidays
- must be able to travel away from home for 35-45 days for management training
- highly developed communication skills in English
- strong leadership and team management abilities
- must have reliable transportation
- exceptional hygiene and grooming habits
- high level of stamina to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Job Qualifications
- minimum 2 years of experience as a dining room manager in a full-service, high-volume restaurant
- current food safety and sanitation certification
- current alcohol training certification
- ability to effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing
- ability to work with a diverse group of staff, vendors, and guests
- strong leadership and coaching skills
- elevated knowledge of alcoholic beverages and beverage service
- highly developed interpersonal skills
- strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- working knowledge of point-of-sale systems and bookkeeping
- proficient in web-based applications and Microsoft Office suite
- flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays
Job Duties
- create an exceptional service experience and prioritize hospitality for guests
- oversee daily operations of the restaurant
- hire and train restaurant staff following company policies and procedures
- uphold standards for food preparation and service
- speak with guests to address concerns or solve problems
- create work schedules for restaurant staff
- control operational costs and take inventories
- order supplies and manage facility maintenance
- appraise staff performance
