Job Requirements

  • Minimum basic reading, writing, and math skills
  • Ability to speak English preferred
  • Ability to carry or lift items up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to push or pull approximately 200 pounds
  • Frequent standing and movement around the facility
  • Frequent handling of objects and equipment
  • Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Estimate drink consumption and place orders with suppliers
  • Schedule delivery of fresh food and beverages
  • Resolve customer complaints about food and beverage quality or service
  • Monitor staff and customer actions to ensure compliance with health and safety standards and liquor regulations
  • Maintain budget, prepare payroll, and manage internal records
  • Utilize computer software to track inventory, staff schedules, and payroll
  • Check quality of deliveries for wine, beer, liquor, food, and baked goods
  • Meet with sales representatives to order supplies such as tableware and cleaning items
  • Arrange maintenance and repair of equipment
  • Balance daily receipts against sales and secure the facility
  • Select or create menu items and assign prices based on cost analysis
  • Recruit, hire, and train staff
  • Schedule work hours for servers and kitchen staff
  • Monitor food preparation and quality
  • Communicate effectively with customers, sales reps, and suppliers
  • Oversee health inspection reports and ensure compliance
  • Update and develop new menu offerings
  • Cover banquet functions and maintain food and beverage areas including restaurant, bar, pool area, and room service
  • Follow all safety, security, and company policies
  • Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
  • Ensure professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Anticipate and address guest service needs
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships within the team
