Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years' progressive responsibility in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service
  • Proficiency in managing budgets and inventory

Job Duties

  • Monitor and supervise daily operations of dining rooms and restaurants
  • Ensure staff provide residents and guests with a pleasant dining experience
  • Work in conjunction with other department managers to coordinate activities
  • Enforce policies including employee appearance, attendance, and service standards
  • Hold regular department meetings to drive employee engagement and retention
  • Be present on the floor during meal service
  • Oversee completion of job duties by restaurant staff
