Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining preferred
  • For alcohol serving restaurants, must meet state age requirements
  • Ability to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to reach and use hands to handle objects and tools
  • Ability to bend and stoop
  • Ability to taste, smell, and verbally communicate
  • Ability to use close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjust focus
  • Ability to access all restaurant areas including selling floor, stock, and register areas
  • Available to work varied shifts and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a leadership role
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • College and/or culinary schooling preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and conflict resolution abilities
  • Strong planning and organization skills
  • Dedication to providing exceptional guest service
  • Excellent computer skills

Job Duties

  • Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Recruiting, interviewing, and training employees
  • Assigning and directing work
  • Appraising performance
  • Rewarding and disciplining employees
  • Addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Coaching and mentoring team members to ensure employee success and guest satisfaction
  • Modeling professional behavior and creating a warm, friendly, hospitable atmosphere
  • Assisting with category job duties as needed
  • Assisting in building store sales by ensuring execution of corporate and local marketing programs
  • Championing sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximizing table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meeting and greeting guests and resolving food quality/service issues to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Maintaining efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • Ensuring OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policy compliance
  • Enforcing safe work behaviors
  • Monitoring daily activities to ensure food quality and cleanliness standards
  • Controlling day-to-day operations including cash control/security procedures and financial report reviews
  • Controlling food costs by following recipes and inventory management
  • Controlling labor costs using the company’s labor scheduling tool
  • Performing all other assigned duties
