Job Requirements
- Experience required of minimum three years current FOH manager in chain full-service bar restaurant
- Ability to lead and motivate staff effectively
- Willingness to work overtime hours if needed
- Commitment to adhere to all company policies and legal guidelines
- Availability to work all holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced team environment
Job Qualifications
- At least three years current experience as front of house manager in a chain full-service bar restaurant
- Proven record of successful restaurant leadership
- Strong skills in team management, training, and coaching
- Ability to plan, schedule and delegate work effectively
- Knowledge of relevant employment laws and company operational standards
- Experience with budgeting, financial planning and cost control
- Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain calm and sound judgment under pressure
Job Duties
- Constantly train, coach, appraise and counsel team members to improve operational skills
- Lead and motivate all team members to achieve a well-functioning and stable team
- Plan, assign, schedule, and delegate work among team members maintaining appropriate staffing levels
- Adhere to all company policies and operational standards, rules and procedures
- Prepare, maintain and analyze operational records for assessing restaurant results and for team member development
- Monitor and assure compliance with employment laws and company policies including wage, hour, anti-discrimination and safety
- Evaluate job performance of team members and provide recommendations on employment decisions
- Investigate and resolve team member concerns working with General Manager, District Manager and/or Human Resources
- Work with General Manager on planning, budgeting and achieving financial goals
- Supervise on all assigned shifts restaurant’s accounting, cash-handling, record-keeping, security and reporting
- Ensure proper execution of all operational standards such as quality, service, image and decor
- Interact with guests in a positive, empathetic and sincere manner
- Exhibit sound judgment and calmness under pressure to resolve guest complaints
- Ensure a safe environment for guests and employees
- Be passionate about working in a fast-paced, team environment
- Be available on all holidays
