Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- must complete Restaurant Manager training classes
- ability to stand and walk approximately 85-95% of shift
- ability to lift and carry 10-65 lbs
- ability to operate restaurant equipment and motor vehicles
- ability to operate a computer keyboard
- must comply with all state and federal labor laws and regulations
- must possess valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation for bank deposits and inter-restaurant travel
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required
- associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- minimum of 1+ years experience as an associate manager or 2 years as first assistant manager for internal promotions
- minimum of 3 years managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility for external recruits
- must be ServSafe certified
- proficient in English communication skills
- excellent interpersonal skills
- strong analytical and organizational skills
- self-starter with initiative
- ability to perform and understand basic math
- valid driver's license and insurance
- ability to use personal vehicle for business needs
- integrity and ethical behavior
Job Duties
- Recruits, selects, trains, develops, and evaluates restaurant employees
- monitors staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent
- ensures training systems are implemented and adhered to
- identifies and develops internal candidates for management and leadership roles
- ensures execution of the Service Profit Chain and Brand Promise
- creates an employee-friendly, fun, clean, and safe restaurant environment
- motivates and inspires employees to achieve high performance
- treats employees with respect and dignity
- regularly recognizes and rewards employees
- manages daily operations to achieve restaurant performance excellence
- provides exceptional guest experiences through training and accountability
- maintains restaurant cleanliness, maintenance, and brand image
- responds timely to guest concerns and complaints
- analyzes restaurant operational and financial performance using management tools
- implements action plans to improve sales and profitability
- monitors costs and adherence to budgets
