Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience required
  • Minimum 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant strongly preferred
  • Ability to work various shifts and weekends

  • Physical ability to stand long periods and lift up to 50 pounds

  • Legal compliance with age requirements for alcohol serving managers

Job Duties

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Recruit, interview, and train employees
  • Assign and direct work
  • Appraise employee performance
  • Reward and discipline employees
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior and foster a friendly, welcoming atmosphere
  • Assist team members with job duties as needed
  • Execute corporate and local marketing programs to build store sales
  • Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Greet guests and resolve food quality and service issues to ensure 100 percent guest satisfaction
  • Maintain efficient operations, control costs, and manage profits
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
  • Enforce safe work behaviors to maintain a safe environment
  • Monitor daily activity for food quality and cleanliness
  • Follow cash control and security procedures
  • Review financial reports and schedules and take appropriate actions
  • Manage food costs through recipes, portion control, and inventory management
  • Control labor costs using scheduling tools
  • Perform other duties as assigned
