Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- minimum of 3 years experience in food and beverage management
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- strong leadership and team management skills
- excellent customer service orientation
- physical ability to stand and move for extended periods
- knowledge of applicable health and safety laws

Job Duties
- Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
- train employees
- plan, assign, and direct work
- exhibit a hands-on approach to training and developing employees
- provide direction, support, and communication regarding service standards and ensure compliance through constant observations
- provide direction, support, and communication to food and beverage employees to ensure complete guest satisfaction and attention to detail
- observe daily conditions of all physical facilities and equipment in the restaurant
- make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed
- control usage of all food and beverage items and appropriate usage of equipment, tools, and service equipment
- provide guidance on food product, presentation, and service
- comply with all hotel policies as noted in Employee Handbook
- follow labor and daily work assignments
- monitor pace and table service detail
- touch each table during dining
- lead daily line-ups and monthly department meetings
- possess knowledge of menu descriptions of all items being served
- adhere to strict uniform and grooming standards
- have thorough conversational knowledge of hotel history and statistics
- handle guest concerns
- use utilities and resources responsibly to control wastage
- communicate relevant information across departments as appropriate
- comply with safe working practices, Health and Safety policy
- ensure accidents or defects are reported immediately
- attend training courses and work with HR to ensure compliance with all certification requirements
