Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 3 years of experience in restaurant management or similar role
  • ServSafe certification required
  • strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets
  • excellent leadership and people management skills
  • effective communication and problem-solving abilities
  • capability to work long hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to maintain compliance with all health, safety and labor regulations
  • willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with physical demands

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in restaurant management or hospitality leadership roles
  • strong knowledge of food safety regulations including ServSafe certification
  • demonstrated ability to manage financial aspects of a business
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • proven leadership and team development capabilities
  • experience with inventory management and cost control
  • ability to handle guest complaints effectively
  • proficiency with scheduling and labor management
  • knowledge of health and safety standards
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales
  • manage costs to meet budget targets focusing on cost of sales, labor costs and cash over/short
  • analyze variances and initiate corrective actions with urgency
  • ensure all financial and payroll-related administrative duties are completed accurately and on time
  • maintain a safe, secure and healthy environment by enforcing sanitation and legal regulations
  • ensure high-quality food preparation and service
  • maintain restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms and appearance standards
  • maintain accurate inventory and control cost of goods
  • supervise portion control and minimize waste
  • estimate food needs and schedule delivery of food and supplies
  • ensure ServSafe certification guidelines are upheld
  • complete weekly Food Excellence Self-Assessment
  • ensure positive guest service and respond appropriately to complaints
  • ensure a safe working environment and complete accident reports promptly
  • manage shifts including scheduling and planning while upholding standards
  • investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service
  • complete weekly Food Excellence audits
  • recruit, select, train, assign and supervise employees
  • ensure all employees complete training
  • communicate job expectations and enforce policies
  • develop employees and establish performance expectations
  • maintain staffing plans and schedules
  • conduct monthly staff meetings
  • develop employees for leadership roles
  • maintain compliance with all regulations and company policies
  • perform loss prevention audits
  • uphold the company’s purpose and values
  • keep District Manager informed of all issues and take corrective actions
  • maintain favorable working relationships to promote morale and productivity
  • accomplish company goals by accepting ownership
  • perform other duties as required
