Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 - 5 years experience in QSR industry/full service concept
  • ServSafe certified
  • fluent in English
  • Spanish is a plus
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • great telephone manner

  • excellent analytical, problem solving, and math skills
  • ability to work with minimal supervision

Job Duties

  • Fully staff the store with quality people
  • recruit, hire, and retain all restaurant employees
  • ensure the entire team is certified according to the current training process at all times
  • create a service oriented culture
  • promote an environment of fun and teamwork
  • evaluate performance and recommend salary increases
  • recommend, approve, and administer disciplinary action, suspension, and/or termination
  • develop and grow team members and future managers
  • execute Del Taco standards and use processes and systems 100% of the time
  • maintain the facility and customer areas
  • maintain all equipment to operational and safety standards
  • deliver only quality products to Del Taco standards every time
  • adhere to cleaning schedules and standards
  • ensure employees are in proper uniform
  • ensure a consistent service experience
  • ensure POP and signage is present and in the approved location
  • identify and communicate sales goals (daily, weekly, year over year)
  • ensure the right people are in the right places according to projected/actual sales
  • increase customer count and check average, maximize capacity and customer value
  • identify and execute Local Store Marketing opportunities to attract new customers
  • stay aware of local events
  • understand the store's current trade area and competition
  • execute speed (speed with a smile) and service standards
  • maintain staffing levels to actual sales
  • comply with labor laws
  • accurately order and manage inventory to reduce waste and prevent theft
  • ensure cash handling procedures and standards are in place and followed
  • perform cash audits and address identified issues
  • execute safety and health standards
  • minimize R&M / Supplies and Services costs by managing service vendors efficiently
  • achieve and communicate controllable cost target
  • perform other responsibilities as assigned
