Job Duties

  • Supervise restaurant operations in line with company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview and train employees
  • assign and direct work
  • appraise performance
  • reward and discipline employees
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior to create a warm, friendly atmosphere
  • assist team members with job duties as needed
  • build store sales by executing marketing programs
  • champion sales activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues
  • maintain efficient operations and cost controls
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety, and security policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness
  • control cash procedures, review financial reports and take action
  • manage food cost via recipe adherence, portion control, and inventory management
  • monitor labor costs through effective scheduling
