Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent fine dining management experience
- Six to eight years of upscale fine dining experience
- Minimum three years management experience
- Experience with cash handling and POS system reconciliation
- Ability to hire, develop, and manage staff effectively
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reservation software
- Ability to handle pressure and resolve conflicts professionally
- Commitment to ethical standards
- Professional appearance
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferably in hospitality or equivalent fine dining experience
- Six to eight years of upscale fine dining experience with at least three years of management experience
- Experience in cash handling and reconciliation of cash banks and POS systems
- Strong ability to hire, develop, train, coach, and counsel hourly associates
- Proven capability to plan, market, and execute special events and promotions
- Skilled in monitoring and tracking budgets and expenditures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of customer service techniques and current service standards
- Ability to remain poised and focused under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and reservation systems
- Commitment to the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior
- Professional appearance and demeanor
Job Duties
- Hire, train, and develop all front-of-house restaurant staff in fine dining service standards
- Maintain schedules, payroll, and administrative support to manage food and beverage cost controls including inventory and pars
- Organize and conduct daily pre-shift and departmental meetings
- Maintain communication with all departments to ensure customer service needs are met
- Create seating charts and station assignments daily, coordinating with support staff to meet daily business demands
- Manage reservation systems and books to accommodate business demands
- Assign side work and ensure completion with wait staff
- Maintain the highest level of service to clients and guests, ensuring satisfaction
- Ensure cleanliness and presentation of the dining room area
- Investigate and resolve client and guest complaints professionally and diplomatically
