Job Requirements
- Minimum two years previous management experience in a full service establishment
- Knowledgeable in both back-of-house and front-of-house operations
- Capable of making clear concise oral and written communication to all levels of employees
- Proficient use of all restaurant equipment including calculators, cash registers, computers, ovens, smokers, knives
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Food Service Manager Certificate
- Completion of M.I.T. program
- Ability to stand for ten to eleven hours daily
- Frequent lifting up to 30 pounds and occasional lifting up to 80 pounds
- Ability to walk, push, pull, lift, cut, carry, kneel, or stoop
- Willingness to work in temperature extremes associated with food handling in a climate-controlled environment

Job Duties
- Provide direction and support to hourly employees
- Perform or supervise preparation, cooking, and packaging of food orders
- Train and implement operational standards ensuring employee competency and customer satisfaction
- Assist General Manager with recruitment, selection, promotion, employee relations and scheduling
- Monitor food cost and quality controls by reducing waste and enforcing proper purchasing, receiving, storage, and preparation procedures
- Record and analyze cash flow, inventory movement, labor costs and cost of sales daily
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to health and safety
- Administer progressive discipline policies as per guidelines
- Lead by example and assist in all tasks as necessary to promote teamwork
- Perform all other duties as assigned
