Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a leadership role
  • at least 2 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • availability to work various shifts and weekends
  • ability to stand and walk for long periods during shift
  • ability to lift, push, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • ability to bend, stoop, reach, and use hands for handling objects
  • ability to taste, smell, verbally communicate
  • acceptable vision capabilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception
  • ability to maintain professional appearance and presentation
  • willingness to work weekends and variable shifts
  • compliance with state alcohol serving age requirements where applicable

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience required
  • minimum of 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • college and/or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervise restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, and train employees
  • assign and direct work
  • appraise performance
  • reward and discipline employees
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • coach and mentor team members to ensure job success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
  • assist team members with job duties as needed
  • build store sales through complete execution of marketing programs
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues
  • maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety codes, and company safety policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • control cash, review financial reports and schedules, and take appropriate actions
  • control food and labor costs through recipe adherence and effective scheduling
  • perform all other duties as assigned
