Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 4 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related field OR associate degree with 2 years relevant experience
- Management experience in a food and beverage setting
- Strong understanding of food handling and sanitation regulations
- Ability to lead and develop a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of local, state and federal liquor laws
- Ability to work full time in Santa Clara, California
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in food and beverage or related area
- OR 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field
- 2 years experience in food and beverage or related professional area
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
Job Duties
- Supervises and manages employees
- Manages all day-to-day operations
- Maintains service and sanitation standards
- Reviews staffing levels for service and financial objectives
- Leads and mentors food and beverage team
- Ensures compliance with food, beverage policies and regulations
- Provides exceptional customer service and handles guest complaints
- Manages financial aspects including purchasing and invoice payment
- Assists servers and hosts during high demand periods
- Analyzes information to solve operational problems
