Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to perform essential job duties satisfactorily
  • willingness to learn and apply Wendy's standard operating procedures and human resources policies
  • capability to provide supervisory practices
  • ability to complete recommended corporate training programs including food safety training

Job Qualifications

  • previous management experience in the restaurant or retail industry
  • strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • ability to learn and apply corporate policies and procedures
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to complete corporate training programs including crew positional training, Wendy's Management Institute, and food safety training

Job Duties

  • assist the GM in managing daily restaurant operations
  • participate in achieving store objectives
  • assist in interviewing, recommending, selecting, and training shift supervisors and crew members
  • create and maintain an environment and culture of effective communication and team engagement
  • provide excellent customer service at all times
  • ensure compliance with Wendy's standard operating procedures and policies
  • participate in performance management and provide one-on-one training
