Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a leadership role
  • minimum of 2 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • willingness to work various shifts and weekends
  • ability to stand for entire shifts and walk long periods
  • ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • capability to reach, bend, stoop, use hands for manual tasks
  • verbal communication skills
  • close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • ability to access all restaurant areas
  • willingness to adhere to safety, sanitation, and company policies

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience
  • a minimum of 2 years’ experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • college and/or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervise employees according to company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, and train employees
  • assign and direct work
  • appraise performance
  • reward and discipline employees
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • coach and mentor team members
  • model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
  • assist team members with category duties as needed
  • assist with building store sales through execution of marketing programs
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues
  • maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • ensure OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies are met
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor daily activities to ensure quality food and cleanliness
  • control cash operations, review financial reports and schedules
  • control food and labor costs through inventory and scheduling
  • perform all other duties as assigned
