Job Duties
- Manage labor costs by aligning labor needs with projected sales
- Review budget and profit and loss statements monthly
- Promote customer satisfaction to build sales
- Monitor crew prep, production, and procedure execution to manage costs
- Track waste levels and enforce procedures to minimize waste
- Communicate sales and profit issues to General or District Manager
- Assist in executing sales and profit plans
- Monitor food costs to reduce waste and theft
- Monitor product quality and provide crew feedback
- Take service efficiency measurements and train crew accordingly
- Train crew in customer courtesy and prompt response
- Take corrective actions to improve service times
- Train crew to solicit customer feedback
- Establish and communicate daily service goals
- Train and direct crew to maintain cleanliness
- Follow restaurant cleaning plan and correct deficiencies
- Train crew in new products and initial skills
- Assist in training new managers
- Cross-train crew for shift coverage
- Recognize high-performing crew members
- Follow prep and production flowcharts
- Monitor inventory and complete physical counts
- Receive weekly food deliveries
- Maintain security of cash, product, and equipment
- Follow manager-established plans and priorities
- Ensure shift standards and procedures
