Job Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age
  • Two years of experience as a manager
  • College degree in a related field preferred
  • Flexible schedule with availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, typically 10-20 lbs
  • Ability to reach up to 6 feet, typically 2-4 feet
  • Ability to move through aisles and spaces as small as 12 inches

Job Qualifications

  • Two years of experience as a manager
  • College degree in a related field such as business or hotel and restaurant management preferred
  • Good longevity in current and past positions
  • Proven leadership and team coaching skills
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations and service standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to participate actively in dynamic restaurant environments

Job Duties

  • Oversees the daily operations from ordering, purchasing, receiving, storage, and preparation of all food products to guest relations, flow of business, and service standards
  • Oversees the flow of the business during business hours, being active in all areas of the restaurant including front desk, bar/lounge, kitchen, and main dining room
  • walks the building to ensure all service areas meet company standards and course corrects when needed
  • Responsible for financial operations including accuracy of safe, change orders, bar banks, tip reconciliation, invoicing, vendor communication, and account management
  • Manages all human resource activities related to the crew including hiring, scheduling, coaching, and labor decisions
  • Forecasts product needs based on inventory counts
  • Writes schedules for workgroups such as servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers, and supervisors
  • Participates in developing incentive programs, generating sales, and marketing services
  • Ensures all food products adhere to company recipe specifications for quality and preparation
  • Recognizes and coaches crewmembers
  • Makes labor management decisions each shift
  • Participates in interviews and selection of new crew
